What a good idea, - hope you have a wonderful vacation, - enjoy every minute together and with the grandkids, and don't let anything interfere with your carefree holiday.

Down here we call it a "stay-cation" and just find the fun local things to do. The kids and I are doing this during the week and planning for Saturdays with dad since there's no chance Clint can get off work for a real vacation.
